First Light is a Non-medical In-Home Care program that offers non-medical personal care that covers everything from household duties like cooking, cleaning and laundry to individual needs such as bathing and hygiene, continence and toileting care, mobility assistance, and assistance with eating. We can help out with running errands, organize bills, take care of paperwork, or just sit down and enjoy some pleasant conversation.
We provide counseling with clinicians trained in issues specific to service members, veterans, and their families. Services are confidential and are free of charge for veterans of combat zones and their families.
K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to military veterans suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post-9/11. We provide them with a service canine, equipment, training, certification, seminars and much more.

Soldier On provides three housing locations. The treatment program is focused on building social skills, creating an enhanced sense of togetherness and providing motivation for residents to spend their free time serving others instead of themselves. Soldier On employs a full time psychologist who focuses on the chronically mentally ill and veterans with dual diagnosis.
Operation Warrior Wellness (OWW), a division of the David Lynch Foundation, offers the Transcendental Meditation-based Resilient Warrior Program, a simple, easy-to-learn, evidence-based approach to relieving symptoms of PTSD and major depression and developing greater resilience to stress.

Operation College Promise (OCP) is a national policy, research, and education program based at Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey. OCP supports the transition of military-affiliated students “To, Through and Beyond,” their postsecondary advancement. Founded in 2008 as a web-based resource, the project was launched under the New Jersey Association of State Colleges and Universities (NJASCU) to centralize comprehensive transition information
