By making an online donation, we will be able to make sure each homeless veterans is provided with all the essentials that go inside a backpack. While we do receive most of our toiletries, Vet Center/VA resources and backpacks through donations and fundraisers, we will use monetary donations wherever there is a void to make sure we are giving each homeless veteran the same resources to get back on their feet.
Backpacks For Life, Inc is a tax deductible, 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and 100% of our proceeds go to serving our homeless veterans.

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a philanthropic vehicle established at a public charity. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then recommend grants from the fund over time. An easy way to think about a donor-advised fund is like a charitable savings account: a donor contributes to the fund as frequently as they like and then recommends grants to their favorite charity when they are ready.
