22,000 Push Up Challenge

Fitness expert Mark Puttenvink aims to cumulatively accomplish 22,000 push-ups by Memorial Day 2019. Mark decided on 22,000 representing the 22 veterans who commit suicide on average per day to raise money to help prevent veteran suicide. Mark is passionate about this cause having boxed 60 straight rounds on his 60th Birthday raising money for homeless veterans.

The event aims to cumulatively accomplish 22,000 push-ups by raising $0.50 per push-up.

Money raised will go to Backpacks for Life, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves the homeless and at-risk veteran community by providing backpacks filled with daily essentials and long term resources while effectively bridging the gap between veterans and the resources available to them.

We are asking that as many gyms, trainers, businesses and individuals participate so we can achieve our goal!
